Standing Wave
ONE CHOICE. ONE POINT OF COURAGE. ONE STANDING OVATION.
Standing Wave is a compact chain reaction puzzle about finding the one audience member who can tip a silent room into applause.
How to play
- Choose one seated audience member and add exactly one courage point.
- If that point fills their final pip, they begin clapping.
- Each clap sends courage to occupied seats directly up, down, left, and right.
- Gold Influencers send two courage instead of one.
- Carry the cascade past the applause marker to win.
Read the room
Filled pips show courage already gathered. Empty pips reveal what each person still needs. Every new clapper joins on the following beat and sends their influence once, so the most central-looking seat is often the trap.
Start small. Count the waves. Move the whole room.

I agree with prevous comment, it was pretty easy, but the game has potential. Also, standing applause for presentation, the game and gamepage look amazing!
Surely i will update it in post jam version and thankyou so much!
Interesting idea, the gold influencers ruin it. Every level was easily won by just clicking on one of them, most on the first try. I would really be much more restrictive with those, and working with not making them them such an easy answer every time.
I guess i gave it away with gold inflencers by the way do you have some ideas how i could balance it?
For balancing, I guess I would be a lot more restrictive with the gold, they're not a bad idea, but it's definitely too easy of an answer as is. I'd recommend limiting their usage as much as you can, and putting in effort to prevent them being a solution. Keeping them off two dots to start as a rule of thumb would make it easy, but you can also cater the design towards making them something to build up to as opposed to the jumping off point.
The sound is kinda sus 😏😏
XD
Game is kind of fun, the sound design is satisfying, but I won every level just by clicking on one of the Gold Influencers, and that was always the solution. I didn't have to put any thought into any of the puzzles other than "press one of the other two Influencers", because that was always the solution.
yeah i guess that gives it away easily i will work on the game after the jam is over
